To assist residents in dealing with icy conditions, the city will be distributing free salt at five distribution sites this weekend. Advance sign-up is recommended, and residents are encouraged to bring their own buckets or bags to carry the salt.
The distribution times are from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., noon to 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the following locations:
